EICF Scholarship Program

The EICF Scholarship Program funds one Indian student at the Willy Brandt School per year. The scholarship covers the entire tuition fees for the two-year MPP program (EUR 7000). Cost of living, travel and other expenses are not covered.

Scholarship holders are considered to be part of the ‘Friends of EICF’ where they can participate in the events organized by EICF and can also contribute publications. The EICF supports networking between the scholarship holders and provides an intranet platform for them.

To apply for the scholarship, please choose the option that you would like to apply for an EICF scholarship in the financial status section of your MPP application.

For the EICF, their objective of promoting awareness of the EU in India and India in the EU is of paramount. The selection criteria therefore not only based on the applicants' academic achievement but also on their social and political involvement and personal attitudes.

Requirements

Candidates for the EICF Scholarship must be citizens of India and granted admission to the MPP Program at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy.

Scholarship holders are required:

  • to submit a report at the end of first year and at the end of their program describing their academic performance and his/her social engagement.
  • to work in India after graduation for a minimum period of three years contributing to the evolving international relations paradigm.
