If you wish to obtain a PPGG scholarship for our general MPP or for our MPP with the specialization track in conflict studies and management (MPP /CSM), you need to submit your application directly to the DAAD, usually to the DAAD office in your home country. If your application gets accepted, the DAAD will forward us your application and a joint selection committee will decide on admission. There is no need to submit a second application to the Brandt School. Please refrain from sending your application materials as e-mail attachments to the Brandt School.
The final decision of admission to the scholarship program and to the MPP will be made by representatives of both the DAAD and the Brandt School. The DAAD will let you know whether your application was successful or not. Please understand that the Brandt School cannot inform you about the status of your application in the meantime.
All PPGG scholarship applicants who want to study the MPP at the Brandt School need to fulfill the MPP's general application requirements. Please read them through carefully. Below you will find the most important requirements listed.
For all questions related to the admission process, you may contact Ms. Kathrin Janisch via admissions-mpp[at]uni-erfurt.de

If you already profess knowledge of the German language, exceptions may be possible.
The Brandt School cannot issue a letter of acceptance/admission until you are officially admitted to the MPP. Applicants may, but do not have to include a document proving that they have been in contact with our institution or professors in order to get accepted.
In general, all applicants holding an eligible university degree (Bachelor, Master, state exam, etc.) with distinguished undergraduate records are invited to apply to our MPP program. Applicants to the MPP specialization conflict studies and management are usually expected to have an academic background or working experience in this specific field of study.
