Special note for applicants from the P.R. China

Having your certificates checked by and taking the "APS" interview at the German Embassy is not an obligatory requirement. However, it is highly recommended by the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy. While passing the interview does not automatically mean admission to the MPP program, it certainly helps to strengthen one's application. Furthermore, obtaining the APS certificate facilitates and expedites the visa application process. 

If you take the interview, please submit the certificate from APS to the Brandt School along with your application package.
