Dr. Kenan Šehovićc is economic advisor at the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Labour and Technology. Previously he was research assistant and lecturer at the University of Trier, where he earned his PhD in economics (2010). His dissertation analysed monetary policy challenges in the context of large-scale financial crises. He has contributed analysis to both academic and intergovernmental institutions such as the German Institute for Economic Research, The Asian Development Bank and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. His fields of expertise include monetary and international macroeconomics.
