Dr. Manuela Glaab

Visiting Professor

Dr. Manuela Glaab is Visiting Professor for Public Policy at Erfurt university (Franz Haniel Chair of Public Policy). At the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for Political Science at Ludwig-Maximiliams-University Munich she is permanent lecturer (Akademische Oberrätin). Since 2000 she has been Director of the Research Group on German Affairs at the Munich based Center for Applied Policy Research (C.A.P.). She was Visiting Professor for comparative politics at the University of Heidelberg in 2008/09 and at the University of Duisburg/Essen 2005/06. She also taught European politics and policy at Tel Aviv University, Israel in the year 2000. She researched and published on the German unification, party politics and campaigning, policy advice and consulting and on third way government's reform policies. Currently her research focuses, both theoretically as well as empirically, on the field of political leadership and strategic management in western democracies.
