Markus Pins, based in Düsseldorf, advises large companies on compliance issues, especially on the implementation and the improvement of a code of conduct.
He earned a master's degree in political theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Afterwards, he did research as a visiting scholar at Columbia University (New York) and the Université Paris 1- Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris). At the University of Saarland (Saarbrücken), Markus worked as a research associate, also participating in the EU Research Training Network "Applied Global Justice". Meanwhile he worked as a speech writer for the President of the German Bundestag and translated Thomas Pogge's book "World Poverty and Human Rights" into German.
Markus Pins is the founder of the Rhinephilosophy college.
