Prof. Dr. Andrea Römmele

Andrea Römmele is Professor of Communication in Politics and Civil Society at the Hertie School of Governance. Before taking up her current position she was, among others, Professor for Communication Management at the International University Bruchsal, where she was also head of the degree program BICOM (Bachelor in International Communication Management) as well as director of the Volkswagen Foundation project "New ICTs and the Innovation Capacity of Political and Commercial Organisations" at the University of Mannheim and managed the project "Campaigns and Surveys" at the Zentrum für Europäische Umfrageanalysen und -studien of the Mannheimer Zentrum für Europäische Sozialforschung. Andrea Römmele holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Heidelberg. She earned her M.A. degree at the University of California at Berkeley/San Francisco State University, USA.
