Richard Stupart

Richard is a PhD researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has an academic interest in the intersection between narratives of 'Africa', conflict and development assistance. Richard completed an MA analysing the understandings present in coverage of the 2011/12 Somalia famine and a second Masters in Public Policy with a specialization on conflict studies, examining questions of validity, reliability, and legitimacy of conflict databases as research tools in memory/archive projects.
