Dr. Matthias Amort






Dr. Matthias Amort finished his legal studies at the University of Augsburg with two state exams (barrister). He worked as a research associate at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt where he gained a doctoral degree. Dr. Amort was then appointed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Erfurt and now holds a Christoph-Martin-Wieland-scholarship as a post-doctoral researcher. He has been teaching law for more than 10 years in both Germany and the United Kingdom (European Business School London). He is currently working on his habilitation thesis on the order of consumer law.
